Opers

Opers are IRC Operators. They are the folks who run the servers and administer the network. Opers hold the keys to life and death, as far as IRC is concerned, and their rule is final (even if they change their mind later). They are the gods of this segment of the multiverse.

From the list below, you will see that there are quite a few opers on MagNET. If you cannot get a hold of your first choice, try another oper. Not every oper is online and paying attention. If you fail to find a single oper who cares about the issue you have, there are two possible solutions. First, you might wait a while longer. Perhaps a sympathetic oper will log on shortly. Second, give up. Perhaps your issue is trivial or not something that requires an oper's attention.

In general, opers follow a set of guidelines, except when they don't.
